Introduction
A.I.M. stands for American Indian Movement. A.I.M. is a Native American civil-rights activist organization. Since A.I.M.'s founding, it has helped Native Americans obtain civil-rights and equal treatment. A.I.M. has been trying to get better living accommodations in reservations for Native Americans. Over the years, many activists such as Dennis Banks, Clyde Bellecourt, and George Mitchell have made a large impact on the Native American community.
